In order to ensure the required quality and functionality of every product, we lay great emphasis on continual quality control throughout the overall production, finishing, and dispatch process. We inspect resultant products in different phases of production so that we ultimately dispatch the precise product as ordered by our customer.

Breakdown Quality Control Phases in Drahkov

  1. The crucial part of this phase involves the due and careful acceptance of round timber –
    i.e. exclusion of fungal decay, determination of permissible sweep allowances,
    as well as performance of quantity checks.
  2. The next phase of the quality control process involves the sorting of boards into quality groups immediately after breakdown.
  3. The final phase involves quality and quantity control of the produced lumber upon dispatch from the lumber mill.

Pallet Production Quality Control Phases in Kladrubce

  1. The initial phase once again involves a receiving inspection, which is carried out during
    the acceptance of lumber from the Drahkov plant or from external sources.
  2. Random product checks are subsequently carried out throughout the production process
    by foremen.
  3. The finished pallets are stacked up and labels indicating the number, pallet type and the name of the specific employee responsible for quality are attached to each stack.
  4. Another important phase is the final inspection of pallets upon their dispatch: quality inspections of pallets leaving the production plant in Kladrubce and quality inspections of dispatched products, which underwent heat treatment at the drying plant in Dvorec.
  5. The very last stage involves our lorry drivers whose thorough training allows them to responsibly decide whether the loaded pallets actually correspond to the customer’s order. Thus, they set out on their journey to the customer without any worries.

The entire area of product quality control and compliance is supervised by our professionally trained production quality inspector. On a daily basis, the inspector and his assistant conduct random product quality checks in different phases of the production process. They carry out evaluations, resolve defects and/or complaints, and make suggestions for further improvement.
