Enlisting new bone marrow donors

On Thursday, September 22, 2022, the Bone Marrow Donor Registration Day took place at Dvorec and Kladrubce plants.

We were visited by Věra Šilerová from the Czech National Registry based in Pilsen. Mrs Šilerová and those interested in becoming donors discussed the Registry and its activities, what does it mean to be a registered donor and what does the bone marrow donation process look like. During the registration part itself, a mouth swab was taken from each donor. From among KLAUS Timber ranks, a total of nine new registered donors emerged, which is – according to Mrs Šilerová – a record number for a single company.
